I am so excited to have finally found someone to cut my hair in Utah! I had bad experiences at two other bigger salons in SLC after moving here from Manhattan, and I gave up for years. I missed seeing my usual guy in NY the past couple times I went, and I was in need of a haircut. I found M Scott Salon online, and I researched reviews and the website, and so I felt pretty confident after speaking with Scott on the phone and scheduled an appointment for a couple weeks ago. Scott is fabulous! He knew just how to cut my hair to give me the volume and playfulness I wanted. It looks wonderful any way I style it, and it still looks great after sleeping on it. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. The deep conditioner Scott sent home with me is truly amazing and has helped my hair stop breaking. Thank you, Scott!!

M Scott Salon gives great hair cuts! I am very happy with mine. They have good prices too! The salon environment is wonderfully calm and relaxing. The people there are so nice and understanding. This salon is great for any type of cut or dye. If you are worried that you might not get the style you want then I recommend Scott the manager of the salon he does everything perfectly! Scott is the nicest person I have met that has cut hair. This is my favorite salon!

Best Salon Experience in Salt Lake!  I've been to exclusive salons in New York, L.A. and London and this is on par with the best! 
My husband and I made same-day appointments, myself with Scott M, and my husband with Steve (an associate stylist in his exclusive studio), and we both really enjoyed ourselves.  I was treated to coffee service on a tray, morning breakfast snacks on a plate, and a blanket at the shampoo bowl.  My husband received a nice hot towel facial, and a foam razor neck shave (Thank You lol) from Steve.  We both received the best haircuts!  My color and cut was the best I've had in years.  Scott really styled me wonderfully, even my husband was VERY pleased.  He even put hot rollers in my hair, and gave me a deep conditioning with my color- and I felt so glamorous!

I have long hair and I've always struggled to find someone who can cut long layers RIGHT.  I finally found my stylist!

On a side note, my husband and I are executives and we've both owned and managed busy companies.  I'm very impressed with this small business.  Very responsive, efficient communications by the owner himself, very personable.  Before our appointment we each were sent timely reminders via text, and some time after our visit we received a detailed sales receipt detailing the services, credits, and even GIFTS we both had received during our visit.  While we paid a fair amount for excellent service, we both feel we received exceptional value for the price paid :)

Wonderful, exclusive, personal studio.  Top-notch service that goes well beyond the average.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very nice experience.  Scott and Steve were very friendly and welcoming.  Steve spent a lot of time talking with me and if I ever get brave enough to change my style in a big way....he has some helpful suggestions!!  Love the way he cut the back of my hair, and was so very helpful in suggestions of where to go to entertain my young cousin coming soon from Norway.  I just recently returned to SLC from Arizona (where I have lived for last 11+ years) and the city has changed a lot.  I appreciate his insights!
